CBS decides to renew their high-rated TV Show Cold case despite having expensive production cost. Warner Bros., the producer of both Cold Case and Without a Trace, seems to have increased the budget of their work as the show airs longer. Though Cold Case has been saved from cut-off, Without a Trace’s fate appears to be unpredictable since it has the same problems with Cold Case. There’s actually a higher chance of it being removed since reports have once said that only one of the two shows would be renewed.
Sadly, there really are shows that can’t be saved from being erased from TV show line-ups. The Unusuals, the cop-series of ABC, is already cancelled. Rumors have it that the Executive wanted the show to stay but the ratings didn’t exhibit good results so ABC has to remove it. Cupid is also predicted to be removed soon with The Unusuals.
Despite all the cancellations, Castle was able to stand still as it was already renewed by ABC. There are still many pending decisions left, so as long as it has not been confirmed yet, it’s best to keep our fingers crossed.
